GODZILLA’S DESERT ISLAND ALBUM

LONDON PEAKY invites a different musician each week to select the one album that would accompany them to their desert island.

Today, please welcome ‘The Godzilla Attacks Tokyo Kamikaze Blues Band’   (  @TheGodzillaAtt1  )

PICKING one album from any artist is very hard, but I would take The Beatles, ‘Let It Be’ with me.

I know that it’s probably not the first Beatles album many would choose, but as a kid when I was transitioning to music like The Who, The Beatles, The Stones and Eric Clapton from my favourite band Kiss, ‘Let It Be’ just hit a chord with me.

To this day putting that album on and listening to the whole things just relaxes me and puts me in a great mood. I love every song, every arrangement, and George Harrison’s lead on ‘Let it Be’ is just perfect.

‘Across The Universe’ is beautiful, ‘Maggie Mae’ is fun, ‘I’ve Got a Feeling’ rocks, ‘The Long and Winding Road’ is epic. ‘Get Back’ is the perfect song to end the album.

So, if I had to pick one album to be stuck on a desert island with, it would have to be that one.
